Hallo!
Ich möchte mich gerade mit Mozilla anfreunden. Was mich wundert: Warum kann ich nur EINE E-Mail-Adresse zum senden (SMTP-Server) angeben? Kann man etwa nur über eine E-Mail-Adresse E-Mails versenden?

Was möchtest du denn jetzt genau wissen? Wie man unter verschiedenen eMail-
Adressen Mails versendet(1) oder wie man verschiedene SMTP-Server verwenden
kann(2)?

Zu 1:
Wenn du eine Mail erstellst, kannst du im Compose-Fenster (oben) über eine
Combobox die zu verwendende Absender-eMail-Adresse auswählen. Natürlich
nur eMail-Adressen, die du vorher über die "Mail & Newsgroup Account
Settings" angelegt hast.

Zu 2:
Du mußt im Dialog zur Konfiguration des SMTP-Servers auf den "Advanced"-Button
klicken. In dem sich öffnenden Dialog kannst du dann weitere SMTP-Server
eintragen. Über den Advanced-Button zu den einzelnen eMail-Accounts kannst
du jeweils den zu verwendenden SMTP-Server auswählen.

"Choosing Outgoing SMTP Server Settings

Even if you have multiple mail or news accounts, you generally need to specify only one outgoing (SMTP) server to handle the delivery of your outgoing mail. If you are not already viewing the Outgoing Server (SMTP) settings, follow these steps:

Begin from the Mail window.

1. Open the Edit menu and choose Mail/News Account Settings.
   2. Select the Outgoing Server (SMTP) category.
   3. Modify the following preferences:
          * Server name: Mail uses the server name you entered using the New Account Wizard, but you can change it here.
          * Use name and password: If your SMTP server requires authentication to send mail, select this option to be prompted to enter your user name and authentication password the first time you send mail. Then enter your user name. The first time you send mail, you will be prompted to enter your authentication password.
          * Use secure connection (SSL): If your outgoing SMTP server is configured to send encrypted mail, you can choose how often you want to use SSL (Secure Sockets Layer). If you are not sure which option to choose, check with your ISP or system administrator.
          * Advanced: Click this option to set up additional SMTP servers. Keep in mind that using more than one SMTP server can cause errors in sending mail.
   4. Click OK to confirm your changes."
